GDPR for influencers, youtubers and bloggers
As an influencer, youtuber or blogger you need to follow the rules of the GDPR. If you do not abide to the rules of the regulation, you can face penalty fees up to 20 million euros. Unfortunately, most influencers do not follow the rules of the GDPR – although they believe that they are doing so. Instead they often share their followers personal data with thousands of companies in the name of “marketing purposes”. To abide to the rules of EU’s data protection regulation, you do not only need to have a privacy policy, you also need vigorous routines for how you handle your followers personal data. Welcome to a seminar where you learn more about both the GDPR as well as how to avoid sharing your followers (and your own) personal data to third parties.
